11 yearsI picked up the phone from this number and it turned out to be a chap from Liverpool claiming to discuss my car insurance. When I responded with a rather casual "Oh, what’s all this about then?", he became quite defensive and retorted, “Why did you bother to answer if you’re just going to act like this?” Utter nonsense, I’d advise anyone to steer clear and block this number if possible.Liverpool11 yearsGreetings! I just received a rather peculiar phone call from these individuals. I informed them that their claims seemed utterly nonsensical. When I probed into the source of my number, they mentioned it had been handed over from some file. They insisted the incident in question occurred two years back involving a Ford Focus. I had to clarify that we’ve never owned such a vehicle! Then, they suddenly claimed they would shut the case down. Curious about their identity, they revealed themselves as Albiam Insurance. When I asked to speak to a manager, they attempted to say they'd merely update the records, but before I knew it, the line went dead! Quite the experience, I must say!Albiam Insurance11 yearsIt’s a total con, definitely not an accident!12 yearsI received a rather peculiar phone call concerning a supposed accident that had never occurred. I duly informed the chap that he was either engaging in cold calling or simply had erroneous details in his records. That seemed to send him into a right tizzy, as he began bellowing about suing me for slander. When I asked him what slander he was referring to, he retorted that I was accusing them of being 'cold callers.' I had to point out that he was the one who rang me out of the blue, which, quite frankly, qualifies as cold calling, wouldn’t you agree? His final remark was a threat to consult a solicitor, claiming they’d be pursuing this matter further. Utterly ridiculous!12 yearsThe authorities have indicated that you can reach out to 03001232040 or visit http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-a-fraud/how-to-report-a-fraud. Doing so will provide valuable information regarding these fraudsters and assist in their eventual takedown. Spread the word!12 yearsI recently received a call concerning a so-called 'car accident.' I stated that I haven't been involved in an accident for quite some time, and I couldn't fathom which vehicle he was talking about. He mentioned something about being able to provide details because his legal department possesses that information. After reviewing what others have shared, I'm seriously considering contacting the police regarding this matter.12 yearsI got a call from this number regarding a supposed car crash that never happened. They mentioned my name, even though my number isn’t listed anywhere. How can we put an end to these nuisance calls? Regards, DCH.DCH12 yearsReceived a call on my mobile earlier today, but missed it. I've now added the number to my blocked list. Complete nonsense!12 yearsReceived a rather dodgy phone call regarding a car crash, and they mentioned both our names. The peculiar thing is, we haven't been in any sort of accident at all!12 yearsOn the 8th of October, 2014, my lad picked up the phone, and the voice on the other end claimed to be inquiring about a car crash. He asked if my son was aware of any such incident. The thing is, there was no accident at all!12 yearsI received an unexpected phone call on 8 September 2014 regarding a supposed legal matter related to a car accident that never happened. The person on the line was completely unable to respond to my queries, like "how did you get my details?" or "who passed on my name to you?" It was all rather dodgy, to say the least!12 yearsIt seems I’ve encountered yet another dodgy caller claiming to be from Albany Assist. They’re pestering me about an accident claim for an incident that never even took place! Absolute nonsense!Albany AssistSubmit Your Own Report (023 9374 2026)
