Some bloke claiming to be "Roger from BT" rang me up, trying to get me to log in to something. They already had my full name and address, which made me think my internet had been hacked and maybe my ID nicked. I even managed to find their address and postcode on Google Maps, and it matched up perfectly. Honestly, it's pretty chilling how far they're going with this. When I told him that our IT support team handles such problems and I'd call him back, he suddenly got all awkward and hung up on me.

Got a call from a woman who said she was from BT, saying my internet account had been hacked (which is odd since I don’t even have anything to do with BT). She had an accent, maybe from somewhere in SE Asia, spoke decent English but sounded like she was reading from a script. I decided to play along for a bit, but then someone else came on and the call suddenly got dropped. I guess they weren’t convinced I was worried enough.

Got a call from some woman with an accent I couldn’t place, asking for me by name. When I asked who she was, she just cut off the call. Ended up blocking the number straight away.

Got a call from some scammer claiming to be from BT saying my account was hacked and I needed to check my router. It was some Asian lady on the line, real dodgy vibe. Told her to do one and find some real employment. Blocked the number straight away.
