This number calls me like 4 times every single day. Looks like some kind of automatic calling system, coz when you pick up it just goes quiet. I try to call back and most of the time the line is busy. If someone does pick up, it just says they cant do voicemails. With GDPR rules being strong now, I sent them a text asking for a proper response based on GDPR enforcement.

They asked if I was "Mrs C#######," which was a bit rude since I'm actually a bloke. I told them Mrs C####### hasn't lived here since 1996. As soon as I said that, they just hung up without saying sorry or anything.

I’ve got Call Guardian as well, and the person calling never gave their name, then just ended the call. After seeing what people have said here, I’ve blocked the number. Funny thing is, my number’s been ex-directory for ages and I’m on the TPS, but it obviously doesn’t stop these calls.

Someone called asking for Mrs Andrews, but I told them no one by that name lived here. Then they checked if it was this address and said yes, going on about our home supposedly listed as having rockwool or fibreglass insulation in the roof. They asked if I knew about the latest warnings on it. I said no, and that I was well informed about insulation already. They hung up after that. The way they spoke made me suspicious, sounded like they’d just left the pub and weren’t very sharp. Definitely a dodgy call. Number was 1572, so watch out for this scam.

Simply hang up the phone and make sure to notify the Telephone Preference Service. They claim to be from an Energy Advice firm and insist that their records show my home has rockwall cavity insulation. When I informed them that this isn’t the case and inquired about the address they had on file, they recited an old residence from over a decade ago. I've registered with the TPS, so this unsolicited call ought to have been blocked. It’s high time such companies faced a ban! We’re inundated with far too many calls of this nature. And I must add, yes, I’m rather advanced in age-over 70-and it feels like we’re being specifically targeted.

They claimed to be from a firm named WARMER ROOF and wanted to know what kind of loft insulation I had. They also mentioned they were linked with the NATIONAL ENERGY SAVINGS CAMPAIGN. When I asked why they were ringing out of the blue, the young guy dodged the question and kept pushing about the insulation. I told him I had no idea, and he said he’d ring back and speak to my husband instead! There’s no way he’ll be chatting to them.

I got 4 calls today from 02392552864. I've got an answerphone that's on all the time. I did 1471 and this number popped up every single time. I don't pick up on calls like this - if it’s really important, they'll leave a message. When I am in and the phone rings, I listen to the voicemail; if I know who it is, I’ll answer, if not, I just ignore it. Had a call from someone named Jasmine claiming to be from 'Warmer Roof UK'. I couldn’t find any info on a company by that name. She said she wanted to do a survey on my loft for new insulation, and mentioned my number was from a UK energy database. I never agreed to any survey and said I’d speak to my husband first. She said she’d ring back later in the week. No mention of prices though. Seemed quite friendly, not pushy at all, but I’m on the TPS and didn’t ask for this, so I’m a bit iffy about the whole thing.
