Somebody rang me from a hidden number and left a message saying they'd call again in a few days or I could email them to get my number taken off their list at [email protected][###]. When I tried that email bounced right back. It's clear they're trying to dodge the rules by making the person they’re spamming do the work to opt-out instead of following the law. I've reported it to the TPS.

I’ve got BT Call Guardian set up and it’s great at stopping these annoying calls. It plays a message like "sorry, we can't take your call right now, please leave a message". Funny thing is, no one ever leaves one. I reckon it blocks about 12 calls from these types every single week.

After getting loads of calls, I finally answered and told the lady that our loft was just a room with carpet and underlay. She seemed happy with that and said all was fine. Then I asked her to please stop ringing me, but that only lasted for about a week! Honestly, what do these people want, my BLOOD or something?

Today, I got three calls from this number, but whenever I picked up, there was just silence, no one saying a word when I said ‘hello’. I tried calling back but no one answered and there wasn’t even an option to leave a voicemail or any recorded message like some businesses have. It just kept ringing until I hung up. After this, I decided to block the number. From what I’ve read in other comments, it looks like it’s best to steer clear of this one.

So, I didn't pick up their calls twice yesterday, but today they left a recorded message. It mentioned something about a company called Warm a Roof and their home insulation services. They said they'd ring me again in a few days. They also gave a phone number, 02392550629, if I wanted to get in touch, but then added that if I wanted my details removed from their system, I could send an email to unsubscribe at [email protected]. Honestly, I'm too cautious to email them as it might be a way to gather my info or just increase the amount of spam, so I wouldn’t advise others to do it either.

Got a call from some bloke who said he was William, an "energy advisor". He called me Miss followed by my first name, which is weird as he didnt know my last name. He was trying to give a free loft survey and talk about fibre glass insulation but seemed like a sales pitch. I just ended the call straight away.

On June 14th 2017, this number rang twice - once at 12:43 and then again at 16:47 when I was home. The second time, they asked for me by name, and when I asked who it was, they claimed to be local energy advisors. Thing is, their phone number is from Portsmouth, but I live about 100 miles away! They went on about my insulation being rockwool and fibreglass, calling it a hazard and pushing their replacement product. I told them straight up I’m not interested in telemarketing calls, demanded to be removed from their list, then hung up. Since I’m on the TPS, no idea how they got my number in the first place. Thought that would be the end of it, but they rang again today (June 16th at 11:03) while no one was in and didn’t leave a voicemail. Honestly, steer clear of this number - they’re scammers and an absolute nuisance!
