I've received four different phone calls each day for the past four days now. It's becoming quite the nuisance!

They’ve called me thrice already, and the second attempt had an extra zero at the beginning-seemed to be an international call. I chose not to pick up on any of those occasions.

I blocked this number ages ago through my BT call guardian, but annoyingly, they still ring up and get blocked pretty much every morning. Makes me think it's either some kind of automated system on repeat or they’re just daft as a brush.

I received a call today, but as soon as I answered, the caller ended the call abruptly.

I received a call from this number, but when I tried to respond, there was silence on the other end. Since I'm subscribed to the Telephone Preference Service, these types of calls really get on my nerves.

This number keeps ringing me up, saying they're from "Home Server" and trying to sell some cheap TV insurance. I've told them to leave me alone a few times now, but they just won't stop. Honestly, I'm pretty sure it's just a scam.

I picked up and said 'This is xyz police station, could you please verify your number?' Then she just ended the call.

Over the past few days, I've been getting calls from a lady with an Indian accent saying she's calling from Homeserve. She told me I'm paying £7 every month for my TV cover but could slash it down to £5. What really got me was how much she seemed to know about me. When I tried ringing her number back last week, it actually connected me to some random accounts department of a company. They mentioned they've been having phone issues and suspected someone was diverting their calls, and that they'd already informed BT about it. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

This number called me for the first time and it was dead silent at first. I said, "Hello, is this a call centre?" Then the woman asked for me by name. I asked again, "Call centre?" She said no and then just hung up. I’ve got a cable on my phone long enough to use around a few necks, honestly.

Yet another fraudulent call today, trying to fleece me for cash to fix my phone or television. The caller had such a strong Indian accent that I could hardly understand a word they were saying!

They kept going on about my TV, but I told them I don’t own one. Still, they claimed their records showed otherwise. I just ended the call and added their number to my BT block list.

Got a call from these lot last night, but on a different number that's listed here too - 02889503670 in Ireland, while this one is from Portsmouth. They were trying to push TV insurance, saying it would be just over £7 a month. The woman was quite convincing, but I just told her that sounded like a steal and joked I’d hand over my bank info straight away - then I just dropped the phone under the cushion and ignored it. Definitely scammers, so watch out!
