I appreciate all the responses-my concerns have been alleviated. They rang me as well... I tried returning their call, and although someone picked up, they didn’t respond. Who exactly are these folks, and how did they get hold of my number?

I've received five missed calls from this number between noon and five o'clock. Whenever I pick up, the line goes completely silent. I popped into an O2 store after reading up on this number, and they assured me it isn't theirs; apparently, they tend to use either unlisted digits or 0845 numbers instead. I've taken the step to block this number, and I'd recommend that others do the same!
