got a call from some indian bloke sounding very pushy, ringing my 87 year old mother-in-law. i answered instead and he claimed to be from bt about some internet issue she supposedly had. but she’s never even had internet, so straight away it felt dodgy. when I started asking him proper questions, he got really aggressive, started swearing a lot and even threatened me. this number and probably loads like it need to be blocked right away.

I got a call from a woman who sounded Indian, claiming she worked for BT Openreach and wanted to check if our internet was working. Thing is, we don’t even have internet here! It was clear right away that it was a scam. Once I called her out on it, she got really rude and annoyed, then just hung up on me without another word. Quite dodgy if you ask me.
