I got a call from 02392388754, supposedly from my card company warning me about charges of £500 on Amazon and £1100 for something international. They asked me to press 1 to sort it out, but since I don’t use my card for that kind of stuff, I knew straight away it was dodgy and didn’t press anything. Funny thing, on Monday I had a similar call from another number starting with 02392 but ending in 71803. I actually answered that one because it seemed local, but now I’m convinced both were scams!
