They’ve rung me a few times and when I answered once, there was a recorded message saying it was from Portsmouth NHS trust and that they’d get back to me within 24 hours. Thing is, I cancelled my appointment ages ago, so I’m not sure if it’s legit or not. If it is real, their system is pretty daft - this was my landline, not my mobile, so anyone could have answered it. They also didn’t give any names or details.

Got messages left two days running sayin you don’t need to do anything but they’ll ring back within 24 hours. Rang the QA switchboard and they don’t know that number 023 92 280721 or extension 0721 at all! So what’s the deal now? The fact you can’t call that number back really has me worried. Not sure if it’s a scam or legit, but I’m leaning towards a scam. Just don’t get why they’d bother though??

They said dont do anything now and they’d call again in 24 hours. The number showed it’s from Portsmouth, but you can’t actually get through to a real person if you try calling back. Got a call from this number, turns out it's the appointment reminder service for QA Hospital in Portsmouth, Hampshire. If you pick up, they won’t bug you again until it’s time for your next appointment. When you’re there for your visit, I’d recommend asking them to remove you from the reminder list if you don’t want the calls.
