Got two calls today from separate numbers, both saying someones been trying to hack government sites using my number. They warned me that my line would be disconnected within 24 hours if I didn’t get back to them. Bit fishy if you ask me.

Somebody rang me pretending to be from BT, saying my internet was about to get cut off because there had been an attempt to hack a government website from my IP. They tried to get me to log in and sort it out, but it sounded dodgy.

I just got a voicemail with some automated voice telling me "your internet was hacked yesterday." Pretty sure it's a scam or something fishy. No idea where they got my number from!

I got a call warning me they’d disconnect my internet in a day if I didn’t get back to them. When I tried ringing the number again, no one picked up. I checked with my actual internet company and they said they've nothing to do with that number, so I’m pretty sure it was a scam.

My dad got a call from someone saying they were from BT, threatening to disconnect his phone line. Thing is, we’re not even with BT! Just another scam phone call. When will these sorts of things actually get sorted out? It’s so annoying.

I got two calls from this number but neither time did they bother to leave a message.

So this number said it was 0121 368 0326 calling me, but when I checked with 1471, the actual phone that showed up was 0239 2268 482. I phoned back the 0121 368 0326 right away and a bloke answered saying he was from BT's technical team. It was obvious rubbish. I told him BT isn’t my internet or phone provider and they need to take me off their list and stop ringing me. He just said they were ‘only trying to help’ or something like that. Completely frustrating!
