I got a call from this firm out of nowhere, though I don’t recall ever signing up with them. They claimed they knew I was looking to buy a house, which was strange because I’ve owned my place for more than three years now. Then they started asking if it was a buy-to-let or something like that. I ended the chat politely, as the whole thing felt a bit off. Seemed legit at first, but the questioning was a bit weird.
