Got a call at 8:30 this morning. Had the same number ring me before, but I hung up before answering. This time I've blocked the number, so they won't bother me from that one anymore.

Someone rang me up saying they were from BT, telling me my internet was running slow and that I needed to turn my computer on. I told them my connection was fine, but they kept pushing, saying I had to switch it on. I said no, and then they began getting a bit pushy, asking if I knew who they were. I just told them that if I had any problems, I’d reach out to the proper support myself.

Got a call from a Portsmouth number but I’m pretty sure it was from far beyond the UK. Some call centre person was chatting away in what sounded like a thick South Asian accent or maybe a local language, but the conversation was just nonsense to me. Didn’t bother figuring out what it was, just told them to leave me alone and they hung up straight away!
