Got a call from 02392 160609, some woman on the line who sounded foreign. I had to ask her to say what she was saying a couple of times coz I just couldn’t catch it. Something about a card machine was mentioned, which made me suspicious straight away. I told her she was trying to scam me, then I just cut the call.

Got a call from some overseas call centre, they kept asking to speak to the manager. Then they started trying to pitch a so-called free credit card machine and related services. I played along for a while before ending the call. Sounds like it was probably a scam to me.

They rang me up asking straightaway to speak to the manager. I said I needed a name first. Then he started asking for a manager from a local business, which I had no connection with. When I told him he had the wrong place, he switched to asking about the manager in charge of card payment machines. At that point, I just ended the call.

Got a call, someone wanted the manager of a company, but there was loads of background noise like you get with call centres. They never said their name and sounded like they had an Indian accent. I just ended the call straight away.
