Got a call claiming my washing machine warranty is nearly up. Problem is, the washer isn’t mine - it’s the landlord’s and must be at least 16 years old. They asked me to pay to renew the warranty, which seemed odd. As soon as I told them the washing machine doesn’t belong to me, they just ended the call. This is the third call today, though I missed the first two. My number’s registered with TPS, so not sure how they’re still calling.

The moment I mentioned I don't have one of my own, they promptly hung up. Quite a dodgy bit of business, if you ask me!
