Some bloke rang my place out of the blue, trying to get me to do some survey. He promised it’d only take about 11 minutes and that I wouldn't get any more calls after that. I told him I wasn’t interested, but then he went on saying he’d just keep ringing me until I agreed to answer. Can you believe that? Proper cheeky!

I just got a call from this number and the person on the line had a strange accent but somehow knew my name, address and phone number. They claimed it was a survey and insisted they wouldn’t ring me again if I took part. When I asked how they’d got all my info, the call suddenly cut off. It’s really unsettling that these call centres seem to have easy access to personal details. Yet, when you try to get info from official places, they just hide behind ‘data protection’ and refuse to share anything. Honestly, it’s so annoying and feels like such an invasion of privacy!
