Today I got three calls that were a lot like the one mentioned here. The final one came from this very number and it was some automated voice repeating the same details as described above. Just like the others, I’m not a BT customer either.

someone called me claiming to be from bt warning that my internet would be disconnected today if i didn’t ring them back. problem is, i’m not even a bt customer so naturally i didn’t bother with it. i checked with my actual provider and they assured me bt has no power to cut my service off like that. this isn’t the first time i’ve had a call like this so i’m pretty sure it’s a scam and not to be trusted.
