So I ended up asking where he was calling from, and at first, he said Wolverhampton. But when I pushed a bit, he changed it to Dharavi, Mumbai in India. Then I asked for his real name, and he said Sumit. When I requested his address and phone number, he just started rambling about the call being recorded and all that nonsense. After about 8 minutes of chatting, he finally hung up. Honestly, felt a bit dodgy and possibly risky.

got a call on my landline around 4:19pm today from a bloke who said he was David representing connecting customers. he mentioned he had to ask me a couple of quick questions that’d only take a minute - then switched it to two minutes once i started messing with him a bit. i told him i'd blow up a bomb in two mins and he rushed through his questions about broadband, washing machines, if i'm a homeowner, my age and asked to verify my address. after 2 minutes, i played a bomb explosion sound clip down the phone.
