I got a call from some guy named Mohammed, said he was with 3 network or something. He asked if I had any girls under 12 and then said he wanted to buy them for marriage. Honestly, that was so messed up. Weird and creepy bloke.

I got a call from this number pretending to be from three.co.uk, trying to push some sort of upgrade offer. They sounded really professional, like they’d been trained in the usual Three customer service script. They were so believable that they even emailed me from an address that looked legit, something like [email protected]. The red flag came up when they asked about my marital status - doesn’t seem like a normal question from a network provider, right? So I looked up the number and stumbled across this. The moment I started doubting and questioned them, they just ended the call.

Got a call from a guy claiming he was ringing from the Three UK shop on Oxford Street, trying to push some promotion deal on me. Sounded a bit dodgy to be honest.

Got a call from an unknown number, they wouldn't even say who they were. Felt dodgy so I didn’t bother hearing what it was about. As soon as I hung up, they rang straight back! Honestly, don’t bother answering these calls, probably a waste of your time.

This morning I got a call from someone claiming to be from T-mobile, saying they had a big discount for my bill. I played along for a while, turning down their so-called ‘special deal’ since I’m meant to be a loyal customer. Eventually, they started getting a bit rude when I kept saying no. The funny thing is, I’ve never even had a T-mobile phone or account, but I didn’t bother telling them that.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Three Mobile. When they tried to pass me over to a so-called “supervisor,” I told them I wasn’t sharing any more details. After that, the person just said alright and hung up on me. This is absolutely a scam, best to just ignore and block the number.

Got a call outta nowhere from this number, even tho I’m on the TPS list. The caller had a strong Indian/Asian accent, and honestly, I could hardly make out what they were saying. Asked what the call was about, but the only thing that came across was “promotion.” The number showed up with a Southampton area code. I just ended the call and blocked it straight away.

Total scam alert. They ring up asking about your phone and how much your bill is, then suddenly offer you a supposedly better phone for half price. Next thing you know, they put you through to some 'manager' who starts probing for payment info, beginning with your email. I played along for ages, about ten minutes, and managed to get the bloke to admit he was pulling a scam before he finally told me to go away in a rude way and ended the call...

Got a call about my supposed TESCO Mobile contract, which I don’t actually have. They were pushing this massive 40% discount for a whole month, which was a bit fishy since just an hour before it had been 30%. The woman asked me to verify my email to send over the terms and conditions. I carefully gave her my email, spelling it out just to be sure. After that, I ended the call nicely. Definitely a scam, so I blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2. When I asked for her to give me my account number, she said she wasn’t actually after any personal details. I called her out saying ‘you’re a scammer, right?’ and she snapped back with ‘well, so are you, Madam’ before hanging up on me 😂

Got a call from some woman with an Asian accent, said she was from O2 and wanted to give me a 40% discount. She asked for my email to check something, but when I told her she should already have my details since she was the one calling me, she just ended the call. Pretty sketchy, just like everyone else is saying.

A woman with a strong Asian or Indian accent called me claiming to be from O2. She was struggling to make herself clear and told me they were offering a 40% reduction on my next bill. When she asked for my email, I told her O2 already had it on file. She then insisted it was just a security measure and asked if I wanted to get the discount. I said I’d need to verify the number was truly O2’s and requested she ring me again in about an hour if any more details were necessary. Feels like a dodgy call to me.

I never share my phone number with just anyone... it’s strictly reserved for close friends and family. So, I’m baffled as to how someone has managed to get hold of it. How on earth have they managed to access mine and other folks' personal numbers? It’s quite troubling, really.
