They called pretending I won a discount voucher but kept pushing for my bank info. Obviously, I didn’t share any of my details. Total scam.

I'm properly annoyed now - got four calls from 02382 today alone. Plus a few more from other numbers. I'm done picking up the phone. There has to be a way to put an end to these constant, daily calls. It's driving me mad! 😤🤬🤬🤬

I'm registered with the call preference service, yet a bloke called Peter rang me up. When I asked who he was, he told me to state my name, and as soon as I didn't, he just ended the call. Total scammer, that one.

I’m really getting annoyed with how many calls I get every day. Now when I pick up, I just stay quiet and no one says a word back. After that, they just end the call.

The person calling sounded totally lost and unsure what to say, which made me think they were still learning the ropes. Turns out, it was some dodgy insurance scam. I cut the call right away.

Got a call early this morning about 8.15, someone pretending to be from the insurance company for my white goods. I just told them all my stuff's less than a year old, since I had a new build and got everything new fitted. But they kept going on like I already had insurance with them and wanted to check my bank info. Totally fishy! Told them they were a scammer and then they started swearing at me, calling me some awful names, then just cut me off. Proper dodgy behaviour!

My phone was on silent so I didn’t pick up when this number rang. I saw it was just one digit off from a number that called me a few days back. After reading the reviews, I think I’ll just block all 023 numbers and won’t bother answering them anymore.

I’ve been getting calls from this number quite often, like several times daily. Since I don’t know it, I usually just let it ring out. But yesterday I picked up and it was someone speaking with a strange accent, sounded foreign. I hung up straight away because it felt a bit dodgy. They’re still at it today, so I decided to check who they are. Cheers for helping me figure out it’s likely a scam call.

Some bloke calling about appliance insurance started rambling on, got so dull I lost interest. Then the call just dropped when I asked which bank he was with. Total scam, I reckon.

SCAM alert! Got a call from this number again, but this time they were going on about some sort of supermarket card for Asda or Tesco, promising a 5% discount. When I told the bloke the address he gave wasn’t mine, he just hung up on me. Total rubbish!

Got a call from someone claiming I’d won £40 and some never-ending supermarket discount. Total rubbish, just another scam!

Got another call from some random number. I just let it ring out and go to voicemail these days - all you hear is some rubbish from a call centre, never a proper message. Honestly, Ofcom really needs to step up and do something about these scammers. They’re just targeting people who don’t stand a chance. Truly annoying.

I’m really losing patience with all the calls ringing my phone every day. They come from loads of different numbers, and when I check online, I see the same complaints from others. Now, I just pick up and stay silent, then they usually just hang up. It’s so annoying! There’s got to be a way to stop this, surely.

For weeks now, this number keeps ringing us several times a day. As soon as we answer, it's just dead silence. There are loads of similar numbers too, same except the last digit changes. They seem to call in some sort of pattern. I’ve gone ahead and blocked every single one. It's really annoying and feels like harassment.

So this company called Blue Blizzards apparently operates out of Kolkata, India. That alone sets off alarm bells for me. They claim to be a proper business handling expired warranties on household appliances. But truth is, they just want to take your cash by any means possible. I can’t understand why any legit UK company would set up shop right in the middle of a place known for scamming like Kolkata. Makes no sense at all really.

Got a call earlier today from a woman with a foreign accent wanting to talk to my husband, who’s been gone for 7 years now. I told them he wasn’t around and they just hung up straight away. I've had calls like this before, always asking for him, but today I decided to look up the number. Being 87, these sorts of calls really upset me.

He proposed that he could sort me out with a call blocker to put an end to those pesky scam calls. Would you believe he claimed all he needed were my bank details? He even had my complete address!

Seems like he was planning to block his own access, if you catch my drift.

It was quite clear that the caller had a foreign accent and seemed keen to have a word with my late husband, who passed away seven years ago! When I mentioned he wasn’t available, they abruptly ended the call without any further discussion.

*** WARNING SCAM *** rang this number back without showing my ID and got a recorded message saying if I want to opt out go to https://ukessential.com. Tried to email the address on their contact page but the message just bounced straight back, so be careful not to give any personal info - that’s what they’re after. They kept ringing me about bogus cover for white goods insurance using different phone numbers too. Definitely a scam, watch out!

I get bombarded with calls all day long. When I answer, they try to say my home appliances insurance needs renewing, which is rubbish because I don't have any. When I called them out on it, the caller told me things like "you're too old, won’t be around much longer" and even told me to go upstairs and jump out the window! It's mad how these calls won't stop, I get at least half a dozen daily. The number to avoid is 02382 622079, they even ask for your bank info!

Got a call from someone pushing a 'super card' that supposedly gives discounts everywhere, but they said I needed to pay £2.99 for shipping through direct debit. Didn’t feel right so I just said no and didn't share my bank details or sort code.

I received a call from a gentleman who claimed that I'd been given a discount card for my purchases at Asda. He wanted to know my name, address, date of birth, and email for "administrative purposes." I felt quite sceptical about the whole affair, suspecting it might be too good to be true. When he requested a number for verification, I enquired what he meant by that. He suggested checking a statement, but I firmly refused to provide any card or statement details. Despite my reluctance, he kept pressuring me. Eventually, I stood my ground, and he hung up on me. I couldn’t help but notice his accent was rather foreign. He directed me to their website, supercardblack.com, for further details, but to be honest, I haven’t had the chance to check it out yet.

This morning around half ten, I got a call from 02382622079. I thought it’d ended because it sounded like they’d dropped the line, so I muttered something under my breath - felt a bit awkward when I realised the caller was still on the line, laughing at the slip! They said the same back to me, which made it less awkward. When I asked who was calling, they just hung up. Honestly, these annoying calls are getting on my nerves now.
