The guy on the phone had a strong accent, maybe Indian, and I didn’t catch his name or which company he said he was calling from. He claimed he wasn’t selling anything, but when he asked me to verify my name, I absentmindedly said yes. Then he mentioned my address, which I didn’t confirm, and I quickly ended the call. It felt dodgy, like a scam attempt. Now I’m a bit anxious I gave my name without realising. I labelled the call as neutral for now, but it definitely seems suspicious. I’ll be blocking the number just to be safe.
