I find these random cold calls really irritating and they just keep calling no matter what. For me, the best thing to do is just block the number. That’s how I handled it, anyway.

Whenever I get a cold call, the caller usually hangs up before the recorded message even starts. If it does go to the recording, I listen quickly to check if it's someone I actually want to speak with, and if so, I jump in and answer. Otherwise, I just end the call straight away. Since I started doing this, the messages get through properly and I haven't had any annoying telemarketers or scams calling me anymore.

Honestly, I just ignore calls if I don’t recognise the number, I don’t really know who it could be.

Pretty sure it’s one of those cold calls. They claimed they were from Southampton, but the accent definitely sounded like it was from India.

This guy rang me up asking if I had any kids in school for some kind of trial, I think it was about some Apple or mac thing. I told him I didn’t have any children, then he just said have a good day and ended the call.

Received a ring from this number recently - totally agree with what others have said, the person on the line didn’t sound like they were from around here. I told them I wasn’t interested in their offer and they asked me why. I just said I never buy stuff off cold calls. They then started going on about their legit website, and that’s when I decided to end the call. This isn’t the first time they’ve got in touch either, second time now.

Today, this number rang me but I didn’t pick up. I just blocked it straight away. Later, I Googled the number and guess what - it’s scammers, no doubt about it.
