Got a call from someone saying they could help erase my debts but sounded suspicious, probably just another spam trying to scam me.

In just a couple hours, got called twice. Picked up the first time but said nothing on the second. Could hear that familiar static and the quick hang-up sound that usually means an auto-dialler. Before this, I’d been getting calls from 07897 077118 the past few days, so my guess is they’re just switching up the number they’re showing.

My phone kept ringing off n on all day, buzzing around five rings each time then just stopping. I never picked up tho.

I've received quite a few calls from the number mentioned above. Could anyone shed some light on who it belongs to and the reason behind their calls, if you wouldn't mind?

They keep claiming they can assist with my financial struggles, yet provide no clarity on what those financial obligations actually are! I've attempted to block them, but they just keep showing up with new phone numbers.

A woman of Asian descent rang me up today. I suspect it was a scam, as they were probing me about my credit cards and any outstanding loans right off the bat. The moment I mentioned that I didn’t possess any debts, they abruptly ended the call! There were no security inquiries or anything of the sort; just relentless questioning. I couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was off.

I received a call from this number yesterday regarding some debt issue. When I declined their offer, they promptly hung up. Just moments ago, the same number rang me again. I mentioned that I had already spoken to them and requested that they remove my number from their database. To my surprise, their response was, "Alright, I'll inform your mum." What a blatant scam!

I received a rather dubious call from a number that purported to be from Manchester, but it actually originated in Southampton. Just last week, I had a similar experience where a caller from Cardiff claimed to represent a Manchester-based outfit. They were putting on an American accent, so I quizzed him about it, and he went on about studying in Dallas, Texas. When I pressed him about how he could be calling about O2 debt recovery from there, it made me chuckle. Honestly, the finest approach to handle these pests is to drag out the conversation and have a bit of fun with it!

I recently received an email that appeared to be from Aldi, which is quite unsettling. Once I provided my phone number, they promptly sent me a different link. Then they had the audacity to request my card information, claiming I had won a PlayStation 5 for a mere €1.86! Shortly after, I received a phone call inquiring whether I required any assistance regarding a company that supposedly owed me money. It’s highly likely that this is a scam, and I’d advise others to be cautious.
