I’ve been plagued by this lot! They’ve called repeatedly despite me asking them not to. It’s incredibly irritating. When I confronted one chap and mentioned he was wasting my time, he had the audacity to insist he wasn’t! It really got my back up, and I ended up giving him a piece of my mind, stating that I’d be the one to determine what constitutes wasted time. After that, I hung up and promptly blocked the number. Ridiculous!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Fibre Network, saying they were checking up on a call I never actually got before. The bloke was really rude and proper obnoxious. When I told him to stop messing me about, he wasn’t happy at all. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number straight away.

Fibre Network has really been a pain! They keep calling me, even after I've specifically asked them to stop. It's infuriating! When I expressed my frustration, the chap on the line acted quite impolitely and insisted he wasn't wasting my time. Well, I lost my cool and made it crystal clear that I would determine what constitutes a waste of my time. Finally, I disconnected and added them to my blocked numbers list.

Got a call from a rather arrogant woman who first asked, then pretty much insisted on talking to our Financial Director about some Openreach stuff nearby. She was shocked that he wasn’t interested in having a chat with her!

I got a call from some bloke called Steven Lowe at Fibre who was honestly so rude and seemed like he had no idea what he was talking about. He kept asking for a director who actually left our firm more than a year ago. You’d think they’d bother to look up the info on Companies House before calling us out of the blue! Proper annoying.

Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up since it wasn’t familiar. Decided to have a look here and saw it’s just someone annoying trying their luck with loads of people. Not me though, I’ve done the same as others and blocked them straight away. Really appreciate everyone sharing their experiences - it’s stopped a lot of hassle for folks like me dealing with this kind of nonsense. Cheers to those who reported it!

FIBRE Telecom UK - I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with a chap named Guy Stephen Lee. He rings up and is incredibly aggressive, practically shouting down the phone if you don’t immediately switch over to whoever he’s got on his mind from the Options house. It’s a right hassle, honestly. If you try to call back to lodge a complaint or ask to have your number taken off their list, guess who you’ll be speaking to again? Yes, the very same bloke! Just a word of caution - he’s a complete nuisance!

Got a bloke on the phone who was super full of himself, insisting to chat with the director by their first name - guessing he googled them on the Companies House site or summat. Starts on about BT shutting down the old systems, but couldn't get why I wasn’t buying what he was selling (definitely a dodgy scam). Sorted him with a block!

It’s quite shocking how some so-called sales reps behave! Totally unprofessional and clueless, honestly. They really should think twice about what they’re doing because they're just making the whole industry look terrible.

Got a call on my business number, person asked for the owner just by first name. That's me, but I've no clue who they were or anything about the emails they claimed to have sent. Seems like a scam trying to convince you to switch your phone service to 'Fibre'. They sounded really confident and pretty cheeky about it.

What a dreadful bunch of arrogant, pushy salespeople they are. Proper old-school cold calling nonsense that feels so disrespectful. I suppose some poor souls probably fall for their tricks, but seriously, there’s no excuse for running a business like that. So unpleasant to deal with!

Fibre UK keep ringing me even after I told them to stop. They’re really persistent and it’s so annoying. I’ve already put in a complaint with TPS, and you should definitely do the same if they bother you. [#][#]tpsonline[###][###]/complaint

Got a call at work from some bloke asking for one of our directors, using a name he probably found on our website. When I asked what it was about, he arrogantly claimed ‘he knows, we've been emailing back and forth.’ I told him that director isn’t involved in day-to-day matters, and he just goes ‘oh...(quiet pause) I’ll email him then.’ Obviously just trying to blag his way in. Definitely putting him on the TPS list.

Got a call from some bloke named Steve Lowe, who claimed BT were switching me to fibre. Funny thing is, I didn’t even know I was with BT! He said his firm was called Fibre Contacts or something like that. If he rings you, just hang up straight away - it’s definitely just a scam.

Got a call today from some bloke named Ian, claiming to be from Fibre UK. He actually asked for me by name, but his voice was pretty familiar from other calls before. He started saying BT are switching everything to Fibre Optic and might sort it out today or something. Honestly, that’s been around for ages, nothing new there. I just told him to jog on and blocked the number straight away. What a twit - he seriously needs to find a proper job.

I got a call from 02382547296 earlier today, with the person asking for the owner by their first name like they already knew them. When I told them the owner wasn't around, they quickly said they'd send an email. I asked why and they just hung up straight away. Bit odd if you ask me - no clue what that was all about. Either way, I won’t be opening any unexpected emails from them if they do send one.

I got a call from someone named Kieran claiming to be from Fibre UK. He wanted to have a word with the director about some Openreach work happening nearby today. Since the director wasn’t around, he said he’d just email instead. But when I asked which email address he’d send it to, he told me he didn’t actually know! Bit odd, if you ask me.

SFTTC - Honestly, whoever’s running your call centre needs to give their team some proper training. So many times I’ve heard people say “he’s already clued up on this”, “just let him know it’s me”, or “if I can’t get through I’ll send an email” - but then no email ever comes, especially since it’s to do with fibre. I’ve had to report this to the TPS and ICO because it’s getting ridiculous.
