Received a call claiming to be from BT, asserting that my landline was at risk due to an unusual number of 999 calls. I was quite taken aback, as we've never placed any such calls. Clearly, it was nothing more than a fraudulent attempt!

I received a call from someone at BT, but the kicker is, I don’t even use their services! I’m wondering if there’s a way I could assist him, though honestly, I didn’t catch half of what he was mumbling on about. It felt rather like he was attempting to coax a simple 'yes' or 'no' from me. In all honesty, I have a strong hunch it was a scammer on the other end.
