Got a call from someone saying they were with o2, kept calling me ma’am which I really don’t like and made me suspicious right away. I told them my account’s got a password and kept asking what theirs was. After a bit, they just ended the call. Watch out for this kinda thing!

I received a phone call from a bloke with a heavy Indian accent, purporting to be from O2. He mentioned he was on the verge of sending me a discount code for 30%. I couldn't believe my ears and told him to shove off as he was clearly a con artist. I promptly ended the call. Just as I was adding the number to my block list, my phone started ringing incessantly-about six times-until I finally managed to cut it off.

Received a call claiming to be from O2, offering a whopping 40% off my current tariff. They even sent a couple of texts, one featuring an authorisation code. The person on the other end had an Indian accent, and when I suggested it might be a scam, they promptly disconnected. I've gone ahead and reported those texts to 7726.

I received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to be from O2, offering me a rather generous 40% discount. However, recalling a previous encounter of a similar nature, I decided to inform the caller that I would be reaching out to O2 myself. To my knowledge, they never contact customers regarding deals in that manner. I also mentioned that when they send a text with a PIN, it's a surefire way for them to access your O2 account, change your password, and even order phones on your behalf. Well, upon hearing that, the caller promptly ended the conversation! Quite the shady tactic, if you ask me.

Received a call that claimed to be from my network provider offering some sort of loyalty reward. However, the moment they started asking for my bank or card information, I hung up. Quite concerning, really!

I received a call from a chap identifying himself as Steve Harrison, who had quite a pronounced Indian accent. He was trying to peddle O2 deals, boasting that he could offer me better rates than my current provider. Curious, I inquired about the rates I was enjoying and which network I was with, but he immediately faltered and didn’t have a clue. I then pointed out the irony of his distinctly American name paired with such a heavy Indian accent, and just like that, he abruptly ended the call!
