2 monthsSo yesterday I got this text that really freaked me out. It said something like "mum, I'm really angry with you, click this link and you'll see why." The scary thing is, I don't have any kids at all! Thought it was really sketchy.2 monthsIf you want to shield those at risk, MAKE SURE TO REPORT EVERY SCAM CALL OR MESSAGE. Info on how to do this can be found a few comments back, around four to six down. Scammers carry on because just a small number of victims falling for their tricks keeps them in a comfortable, untaxed lifestyle. Hardly anyone reports these dodgy activities to the police or OfCom, even though those bodies were set up by the previous government to track and tackle them. I know reporting can be a bother, but those annoying calls, texts, and emails we get are a nightmare too.OfCom2 monthsGot a text saying it was from Three with a link to this number, asking me to hit "call" back. It seemed dodgy straight away, so I looked it up on Who-called me and found loads of reviews that backed up my doubts. Seems like these scammers are at it again trying new scams, just a heads up everyone!2 monthsGot a call out of the blue about some roof insulation stuff, didn’t ask for it, seemed a bit dodgy to me. Might be one of those scams.2 monthsGot a call really early this morning, but hung up straight away as soon as I picked up - definitely a scam.2 monthsLoads of missed calls from this number and a bunch of others that look almost the same. They don’t leave voicemails and I just let the call go to voicemail because it rings a bit then just cuts off. If they really wanted to reach me, surely they’d leave a message? The fact there’s lots of similar numbers makes me think it’s dodgy.2 monthsGot a call on my landline from a number I didn’t recognise. I didn’t pick up and the caller just ended the call without leaving any message. Seems like it was one of those scam calls.2 monthsThis number kept ringing and ringing while I was tied up in another room. Proper annoying it was.
