Got a ring from this number the other day. When I told the person on the other end they’d got the wrong number, they got pretty rude. They kept going and I asked them who they were, then they just cut me off. At least they didn’t curse this time, so I guess that’s a bit better...

Definitely a call centre, I could hear loads of chatter behind the person and it wasn’t in English at all. Some bloke with a foreign accent asked for a name that sounded a bit like mine, but only if you said it right. Totally felt like a dodgy scam. I told him he’d got the wrong number, then he said something I couldn’t catch, maybe a swear in some language, then just hung up on me.
