There was a call from a landline but no voicemail was left since I didn’t pick up.

Got a call at 09:06 from a bloke with a very scripted-sounding UK accent, clearly from a call centre. He tried to come across as cheerful, even asked how my day was so far, then quickly jumped to assuming I owned the house and paid the electricity bills. Told him straight away he had the wrong person, and without another word he just hung up. I was actually interested to hear what nonsense he’d trot out but no chance.

Totally agree with the other comment about this phone number. It’s definitely one of those loft insulation scams.

Got a call from 023822800261 but didn’t pick up since the number looked foreign. They left some weird voicemail I couldn’t make out. Most likely some scam, came through from Woodbridge, Suffolk.

Got a call from this number 023822800161 about loft insulation, seemed like a total scam to me. They said they wanted to do an inspection and kept trying to scare me about damp issues. The bloke had a kinda natural UK accent but there was a weird delay when he spoke, like it wasn’t a real person. When I gave odd replies, it didn’t deal with them well at all, so I reckon it was some dodgy AI or automated system. Definitely wouldn’t trust it.
