Every evening my phone rings. I picked up this time, and it was someone asking about conservatories and loft insulation. She told me someone would come round within a day or two, then ended the call pretty sharpish.

They say they're some kind of energy saving firm, promising to cut your bills by hundreds of pounds compared to your usual provider. It's all a scam. Don't fall for it or you’ll end up losing loads of money by handing over your info and bank details. Tried ringing them back but no chance, no real number you can get through to. A proper business would have a call-back number but these lot don’t. Number was untraceable too. Stay clear!
