got a call from a bloke saying he was from bt, warning me my internet and landline would get cut off soon if i didnt do something. he said to press 1 to speak to an engineer. just hung up straight away and blocked the number on my house phone.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent after an automated message told me my BT contract had expired. She rattled off my number, which was pretty obvious, but totally blanked when I asked for my BT contract number. Then the line just went dead. Feels like it was some sort of scam to me!
