I got a call from someone saying they were from the motor investigation unit about a crash I supposedly had. When I asked them a few questions, they suddenly lost their temper and started yelling. Pretty obvious it was a total scam.

A cheeky young woman called me saying I was involved in a car accident last December. When I asked for more details, she just rudely ended the call on me!

He called me saying I was entitled to some payout even though I wasn’t hurt and had all my details like my car reg. I told him I wasn’t interested and asked him nicely to stop calling me mate. After that, he just ended the call. Another one of those dodgy insurance scams for sure!

Got a call saying there’d been an accident recently. They asked for my info and I gave it but once I mentioned my solicitor was handling things and I wouldn’t share passenger details, they ended the call straight away. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
