I received a call from someone purporting to be from the motor investigation agency regarding a recent accident I was involved in. When I began to probe further, the individual on the line became irate and started shouting, which confirmed my suspicions that it was nothing more than a scam.

I recently encountered a rather impolite young woman who was adamant that I was involved in a car accident last December. When I probed for more details, she swiftly ended the call without a word!

Received a call where they had all my personal information, including my car reg, and started claiming I was entitled to some sort of compensation, even though I’d suffered no injuries whatsoever. I made it clear that I wasn’t interested in any compensation and requested him to refrain from calling me 'buddy'. He promptly ended the call. Just another example of a dodgy insurance scam, if you ask me!

Received a call regarding a recent accident. They verified my information and as soon as I mentioned that my solicitor was handling things and I'd not be sharing any info about the passenger, they suddenly ended the call. Definitely a dodgy operation!
