On the second occasion, the woman on the line sounded quite taken aback when she asked, "Are you really not interested in claiming your PPI refund?!" Whenever I answer, there's this peculiar crackling sound before someone starts talking, and I've learned to just hang up as soon as I hear the beep, anticipating their spiel. I've decided to save their number as "Cold Caller" in my contacts, so I can easily recognise and avoid their persistent calls.
