There was a pause of around five seconds, then a man with an Indian accent came on, background noise like a busy office with loads of people talking. He said he was from BT Openreach and told me they’d seen issues whenever I tried to get online. He asked me to get to my computer straight away. I told him I couldn’t and he just cut the call instantly. No idea what he wanted me to do, but it was obviously dodgy. This was the second call today, and both times the number showed up as a local one!

Some bloke called Benjamin claiming he was with BT Openreach, but I'm pretty sure it was a scam.
