Got a call from someone saying they were with esi, a local energy provider or something. You could hear all the noise from the call centre behind them. They wanted to check if I owned the house, but I just said I wasn’t interested and hung up straight away.

This number has rung me a few times, and I always ignore it since it looks unfamiliar. They never bother to leave a voicemail either. I'm guessing it's just some cold caller trying their luck.

Got a call flagged by my BT Call Guardian. The person said it was from customer services and gave a lady’s name. I just sent the call straight to voicemail, but they didn’t leave any message. I doubt any firm from Southampton would need to get in touch with me. Sounds like a cold call to me, so I’m just gonna block the number.

Got a call about some loft insulation they reckoned I’d had done about a decade ago. I told them I don’t have any insulation at all, and they then asked if it might’ve been removed. Thing is, I live in a flat with a flat roof, so no loft here. I just hung up - felt like a dodgy scam to me.
