Got a call from someone talking with a pretty thick Aussie accent asking me why I was messing around with his girlfriend. It sounded like a recorded message, not a real person. They called me two times in a row. Definitely smells like a scam, so watch out!

My 10 year old daughters phone got some really nasty and rude messages from this number. Totally unacceptable!

Got a call at the office from some bloke asking if I was the one that damaged his car. Told him straight up, "No way!" Then he goes, "Yeah you did, you left a note on my windscreen!" I had to tell him I don’t even own a car, nevermind leave a note. He got proper angry, shouting "Don’t lie to me!" So I just ended the call. Bloody annoying. 😡

Got a call from an automated voice claiming I was about to be taken to court for using my phone while driving. Just ended the call straight away!

Turns out it was my 13 year old son messing about with some prank app 🤬 can’t believe it!

Honestly, these prank call apps need to be outlawed. I got a call from a withheld number and then an 02 number just past 10pm. I suffer from really bad PTSD after losing my husband in terrible ways, so seeing a private caller so late just threw me into a total panic attack. It's disgusting, and what's worse is I’m sure whoever’s behind it knows my story. That’s not funny at all.

Definitely a scam, don’t answer this call!

Got a call from someone saying I’d ordered 20 pizzas and they were struggling to find my place to deliver right away. I asked what kind of shindig requires that many pizzas and where exactly they were trying to come. When I told him I hadn’t ordered anything, he just yelled, “I don’t give a damn. I’m delivering them and you’ll have to pay!” Honestly, couldn’t stop laughing.

I got a call about a cat supposedly ready for adoption, but the whole thing felt like a robot chatting back because the replies were way too spot on to my questions. Never even signed up or showed interest in adopting any pet.

Somebody told me we met on Tinder and then started whining about me ghosting her on a date, which is odd cause I’m only 13 and don’t even use Tinder. The same number rang me like 4 or 5 times before I finally picked up. I called them a bunch of rude names I won’t say here. She said her name was Emily, but her voice sounded totally like a robot or something. Proper sketchy.

Seriously, dont bother with these idiots pretending to be traffic cops or something alike. They try saying you’ve been speeding, like the real police would call you up that way! It’s laughable how they dont even get the car registration right or give any details. Who do they think they’re fooling? Hopefully, the real police are onto these clowns and catch them quick!

Got calls from the same number five times back to back, didn’t pick up since it was past 8 PM and a bit late. After that, they rang again but this time from a private number - still ignored it. Honestly, be cautious with these.

I got a call from someone claiming they’d picked up my cat and said they’re at a health animal shelter. They kept asking for my address to supposedly help track my cat down. Felt a bit fishy to me.

Some bloke got really loud with me, telling me to quit using his WiFi. Sounded like he had a script or something. I wasn’t really sure what details he wanted from me, it was weird.

We've been getting calls from this weird number that just rings and then cuts off right away. I looked it up on Google and ended up on this page. What's odd is that just a couple of minutes after the first call, another call came through from a different 02 number, this time trying to pitch broadband and phone deals. Usually I just say something like, "No thanks, I live in a small caravan and move around too much for that to work," and they seem to catch on quick and hang up. Pretty strange sequence of calls!

There’s this app going round that folks use for jokes - I got called out by someone with a really bad Scottish accent, saying I was nicking their WiFi. Bit daft but nothing nasty, probably just for fun if you take it easy.
