Got a call from 023 8154 2262 the other day, and it was a weird robot voice spouting out seven digits in binary code or something. Definitely a scam, so I wouldn’t pick up or ring back if I were you. Best just block the number and get rid of any voicemails it might’ve left.

This number rang me on my phone today, and some robotic voice was telling me it was Heather from HMRC, warning me that they were taking action against me if I ignored it. It sounded really fake and honestly kind of funny, but also quite irritating. I wouldn’t say it felt threatening, more like just annoying spam since the computerised voice made it all seem so unbelievable.

Got a really scary automated call that took me by surprise with how harsh and direct it sounded. I tried calling back and got through to some guy named Jacob Allen who spoke with a strong Asian accent. Then he passed me onto his “Manager” who kept pushing me for a straight yes or no on paying nearly £2000. When I asked him to provide any evidence of this so-called tax evasion and fraud he was accusing me of, he just hung up straight away. Honestly, it was quite unsettling. If these calls are so common and apparently linked to Southampton, why hasn’t anyone put a stop to them yet?

I didn't pick up the phone, but there was a voicemail waiting. It was some kind of robotic message warning me not to hang up because it was urgent. I blocked the number straight away and got rid of the voicemail.

Got a call from someone named Charles Henry from hmrc 583983 claiming I had a case against me. He reckoned if I didn’t pay up, the police would come to my house to arrest me right away.
