Got a call from someone claiming they could save me money on my home appliance insurance. She mentioned I had an account with Royal Bank of Scotland and rattled off the first four digits of my bank number. Then she tried to get me to give the rest. I said I don’t have any insurance like that and that I’m not with Royal Bank of Scotland. She then accused me of wasting her time. I told her right away it was a scam and she just told me to go away. Lovely person, really.
