I've had a couple of dodgy calls today about home appliances. The bloke wasn't too chuffed when I asked if his mum and dad would be proud of him scamming people. He started getting really narky and hung up on me. Guess that tactic might just do the trick, reckon I'll give it another go.

I got a call around 9.14 this morning (9th May) from a woman with a foreign accent saying I didn’t need to pay anything more on some appliance maintenance contract - which I’ve never had. Once I told her that, she just hung up. What’s a bit unsettling is that she already knew my name and address. This is actually the second time in a few days I’ve been called about this same thing.
