Someone with an Indian accent, calling himself John, rang me earlier. I straightforwardly asked what he wanted, and he replied all sarcastic like, saying 'everyone's so nice to me today'. After that, he started with some kind of threat - I couldn't quite understand because of his accent - but it was along the lines of 'do this or else', then promised they wouldn't ring again. I told him I didn’t buy that his name was really John and ended the call. A call from 02033938420 hit me earlier today too, same nonsense scam.

I got a call from a guy who said his name was Ryan, but he definitely sounded Indian! He said he needed to ask me three quick questions. He had my full name, phone number and even my address - he said it was from the electoral roll but I have my doubts about that. He asked how old I was, which I didn’t want to say. Apparently, it was for some survey about what kind of housing is most common in the UK. I told him to remove me from whatever list he'd got me on and then ended the call.

there's this uk insurance firm named 'fish' that covers car, home, and travel insurance, with a focus on policies for disabled people. I've seen them use this number mainly for renewal calls, although i’m not sure if it’s for anything else. from what i’ve dealt with over several years, they’re legit, always courteous and professional. ‘fish’ is honestly one of the rare companies i feel confident suggesting to my mates and family without hesitation.

I received a call on Bank Holiday Friday that I unfortunately missed. They didn't leave a voicemail, and when I attempted to return the call, it indicated that my call couldn't be connected, almost as if I was trying to ring a mobile phone. Quite odd, really!
