0203683593 This is the same DAG scam others have already mentioned here. I stupidly shared all my card info before it clicked this was a con, but they had enough info about me to seem legit initially. Be careful, I had to cancel my card in the end and luckily nothing had been taken yet.

Spoke to Andrew from DAG. He was super sure of himself but honestly, a total muppet. Did I really give him my bank card info over the phone? Nope, but he acted like I would, saying he’d hold the line while I fetched my card as I was out in the garden. So, he waited for a bit then suddenly just hung up. Guess he wasn’t a fan of me blasting Top Gun tunes from my PC speakers. Haha!

Got a call from D.A.G. claiming my washing machine was covered by their insurance (which it definitely isnt) and that my policy was ending today (its not). They asked if I wanted to renew at a cheaper price. I said no thanks and he just hung up. How on earth did they manage to have my number and name?!

Had a chat with a bloke named Jack who was ridiculously sure of himself and stuck to his tale even after I said I knew what was going on. Said he was from DAG in Brighton but oddly couldn’t recall the street where the company is based. I kinda like messing about with people like him on the phone and Jack really stood out, even when I questioned how legit his claim was about renewing my Insurance, he kept his act going till the very last minute. Didn’t even hang up first, actually I was the one who ended the conversation! Bold and quite slick. Proper concerning.

Got a call today from 0203388879 saying they were DAG Insurance and that my dishwasher was insured through them - which is totally wrong. As soon as I told them my appliances are actually covered by XXXX, they just dropped the call. Definitely think DAG Insurance is just a scam call!

Got a call from some firm claiming to be DAG. They wanted me to fork out 3 payments of £76 for a three year washing machine cover. Said they’d already sent me paperwork before, which is total rubbish. The moment I said I’d like to check other options, they just hung up! Definitely seems like a scam. I told them I couldn’t remember ever signing up for any insurance (was dealing with cancer treatment then so it’s a bit fuzzy). They insisted I paid £99 back on 22 March 2017. I said that’s funny, who approved that? I had no idea about any such payment. Guess what, he just hung up straight away.

Just had the same thing happen to me - the guy said my dishwasher warranty was ending soon. Thing is, we bought it used and never got any warranty in the first place. Plus, he rang me at work - no idea how they got that number. I reckon they realised I wasn’t going to fall for it straight away, so they said they’d look into it and call me back, but I’m pretty sure that’s never gonna happen. What a load of rubbish - they’re clearly hunting for someone gullible enough to hand over their bank info.

I've had quite a few calls from them. I just said "yes" to their questions about my washing machine and warranty. Then they asked if I lived at 30 Warwick Avenue, which I confirmed, and kept asking for more info. Suddenly, they just hung up. Seems like they were trying to gather details and noticed I didn't correct the odd address they guessed. No calls for a couple of weeks, then a guy called again today but hung up before we got anywhere.

They offered to send an engineer on Tuesday 8/8/17, gave me a phone number that didn’t answer (02037245978), a reference number, but no one showed up. After waiting and no one turning up, I called around, found this page for DAG and spoke to a very rude lady who told me I must have been misinformed. Such a pointless hassle, thanks for the awful experience, DAG.

Got a call on 8/8/17, they kept pushing that my supposed washing machine warranty was nearly up. When I said I'd only got the manufacturer’s warranty, their attitude changed and got quite pushy, claiming I’d paid £99 a couple years back. Told them to remove my details from their system, but they just said I'd be stuck with a cancelled policy. I ended the call as they kept going on and on!

I was lucky enough to have my documents nearby, and when I paused to check, she asked if I was still on the line.
