I picked up and just said "hello," but no one replied from the other side. After seeing some of the other comments about it possibly being risky, I reckon it's best to block this number. It's 02380972410, by the way.

What a complete waste of time! Some guy called Harry rang me, couldn’t figure out where he was from exactly, so I just held the phone up to the radio and cranked the volume to drown him out. Me and my husband are pensioners - he’s had a stroke and I’ve survived five cardiac arrests - we really don’t need these ridiculous scams. The bloke sounded American too. It’s unbelievable these #### aren’t shut down faster.

Got a call from someone pretending to be O2, claiming they’re sending me a replacement sim with a special offer. They wanted me to confirm my full email address, which seemed fishy. Turns out, if you give them that, they’ll try to reset your email password by sending a Microsoft verification code and then ask you to share it. Definitely best to avoid giving any info to these lot!

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be with O2. Told him I don’t even use an O2 SIM. He kept going on about how they’re linked with Virgin. I said, yeah, I’m aware of that but I’ve got my own SIM, not theirs. Then he rambled about O2 having network issues and how they’re part of Virgin. Seriously, I told him I’m not with O2, what’s so hard to get? Ended up just hanging up and blocking the number.

I got a call from someone claiming to be O2, saying they were updating their system and needed my email and username. Their English was really bad, which made me suspicious straight away. I told them to just send me a letter instead. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
