2 yearsGot a call from O2 claiming some scam stuff, told me to report them then started threatening me. Watch out and just block the number!2 yearsGot a call claiming to be from O2, said they were sending me a new SIM and giving me a discount on my bill. When I asked them to verify my postcode, they said they’d get back to me but wanted my email and other details first. I told them they could just sort the discount on my account, but then they insisted on the postcode. Told them I suspected it was a scam, and they hung up. They called again and sent a text, so I blocked the number and reported it. The voice sounded like it was an Indian accent.2 yearsGot a call claiming to be from O2, but I told the lady I’d ring O2 myself to sort things out. Then she started yelling, saying she didn’t need any bank details - which I never even brought up! I double-checked with O2 later and they said it wasn’t them for sure. Total scam.O22 yearsI picked up and the person on the other end claimed to be from O2, saying they were dispatching new SIM cards and needed to verify my info. I told them I wasn’t comfortable sharing details out of the blue and ended the call politely. Right after, they rang back and began shouting and talking over me while I tried to say I’d just ring O2 myself to confirm. So I had to hang up once more. Not sure if it was legit, but if it really was O2, their approach was pretty harsh and they really ought to sort out how they deal with customers!Submit Your Own Report (023 8097 0719)
