I received a bloody annoying call from this number at 9 o'clock this morning. Didn't recognise it, so I let it ring out. Did a bit of digging and came across this site, which reassured me I made the right choice in ignoring it. I attempted to return their call using 141 to keep my number private, but it just hung up immediately. Classic red flag for a dodgy scam operation, if you ask me!

I got a ring from 01384 xxxxxx but didn't pick up. They never left any voicemail or anything.

We got called three times in one morning by these people who were really unpleasant. They never told us who they were and ended up shouting, claiming they were checking if our computer was hacked. It’s crazy! Honestly, I don’t get why these types of calls aren’t just banned or why no one does anything about them.

I got a call from this number out of the blue and when I tried ringing back, all I got was some automated voice saying ‘the service cannot be connected’. Sounds pretty dodgy to me, likely a scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft about my Windows security. I just said they had the wrong person and ended the call. Now I've blocked that number.

Got a call off some bloke saying there was an issue with my Windows PC. I asked him how he even got my phone number and how he knew I had a computer in the first place. His answer was something like “we know everything.” I told him to get rid of my info from their records straight away. He spoke in this really pushy way the whole time. Ended up having to just hang up on him.

This caller was so frustrating, I couldn’t make out what the lady was saying because of her Asian accent. She kept going on about some issue with my computer but wouldn’t let me get a word in. I told her to be quiet and raised my voice before ending the call.

Woken up at 7:30 this morning by a call, but as soon as I picked up it just hung up. Didn't answer the next time it rang and it ended up on my voicemail. Gonna block the number now. If they’re known fraudsters, why aren’t the authorities shutting them down and throwing the book at them?

Received a call today (22 Feb 2024) from someone speaking with a foreign accent. After some small talk, they quickly claimed there was an issue with my computer - something to do with Microsoft / Windows. It was pretty clear right away that it was a scam. I’ve since blocked their number on my home phone.

It's quite a challenge trying to get this caller to cease their incessant communications, given their relentless nature. I've ultimately made the choice to lodge a complaint against this company, whoever they may be. They seem to have some link to Southampton, yet I can't fathom why the authorities have not paid them a visit. It's baffling, really!

Received a call that claimed to be from Microsoft. When I told them I didn’t own a computer, the caller replied that they’d go ahead and cancel my so-called computer. Quite rude, really. Just trying to intimidate people!

I received a call from someone who asserted he was calling on behalf of Google, so I ended the conversation rather swiftly. He rang me back right away, demanding to know the reason for my hang-up. I told him I suspected it was a scam, and that seemed to set him off; he became quite hostile, prompting me to disconnect the line once more. To my surprise, he rang back again, this time even more irate, shouting threats about my computer being switched off within ten minutes. Naturally, I cut him off once again, but I must admit, the entire experience has left me feeling rather uneasy.

Received a call purporting to be from Windows, claiming my computer had been compromised. I ended the call promptly, only to be greeted by another ring straight after, delivering the same nonsense. I swiftly hung up once more, and yet another call followed almost immediately. I chose not to pick up on the next ring, and thankfully, the incessant calling finally ceased.

A guy with an Indian accent rang me claiming to be from Microsoft. I just hung up straight away. Then, after a few mins, he called again and left a weird message that sounded all jumbled but I caught something about my computer getting hacked. I could hear people talking in what seemed like an Indian language in the background too. I’ve blocked his number now - total scam, no doubt about it.

I picked up this number and the guy on the other end was really aggressive and sounded like he was from abroad. Definitely one of the most unpleasant calls I've had.
