The caller insisted on speaking to me by name. When I asked who it was, she said "James Carter Wealth Management." I replied with "Mr 222?" since I hadn’t mentioned any name earlier, and said I wasn’t interested. She then got quite offensive and snappy, complaining how I couldn’t judge without knowing what the call was about - like the company name doesn’t already make it clear they’re pushing financial services. I just blocked the number.

A lady calling herself Sally rang me up, wanted to speak with someone who wasn’t here, and then just ended the call straight away.

I received a dodgy phone call from someone claiming to be from a local company. The woman on the other end was extremely impolite when I mentioned that the business owner wasn't available in the office. When I attempted to ring that number again, it was constantly busy. Quite the nuisance, really!

I got a call from a really nice woman who said she was a pension advisor. When I asked what exactly she was trying to sell, she said it wasn’t sales, just a free consultation. I wasn’t having any of it and let them know how I feel about people calling out of the blue.
