someone rang me asking about a crash ive never had. when i asked who they were they just cut the call. tried calling back but no reply. defo a scam.

I got a call from some accident helpline, and I told the bloke I'd crashed my Morris Minor. He had no clue what kind of car that was! I kept chatting with the daft Adrian for about ten minutes just to stop him pestering someone else.

I only get calls on my landline, and its like they happen when I’m on the internet - maybe it’s cause my PC and landline share the same Openreach line? The number calling is 02380 778 965 but BT don’t recognise it. I can’t call back either. Usually I get a couple of calls a week, been going on for nearly three months now, right up till today, 7th April 2016.

So, I found myself chatting with that Accident Helpline lot. I mentioned how I’d managed to total my beloved Morris Minor, and the bloke on the other end had the audacity to ask me what on earth that was! I kept the rather clueless Adrian stringing along for a full ten minutes - just long enough to ensure he wasn’t pestering some other poor soul in the meantime. - caller: Accident Helpline

I picked up and the call just dropped straightaway. I’ve blocked the number since I’m pretty sure it was a dodgy call centre trying to scam me.
