Some bloke rang me pretending to be from Sky about issues with my internet. I played along for about ten mins then told him he had the worst English I’d ever heard from their lot and he hung up straight away. Totally sounds like a scam to me. Why hasn’t BT put a stop to these dodgy calls? Makes you wonder if they’re just turning a blind eye for the cash.

These supposed internet company ppl are just fraudsters. Been ages they’ve been taking ppl for a ride, someone really needs to put a stop to these crooks.

Without a doubt, this has got to be a scam.

Got a recorded call warning my internet would be disconnected because of some "illegal stuff." Obviously a complete con. Honestly, when will the government step in and put an end to this nonsense? I try blocking every scammer that rings me, but they just come back from a whole new number each time. It’s really frustrating, especially doing shift work and having old folks at home who might need me, only to be disturbed by these bogus calls.

This lot of fibbers are a nightmare, seriously, when are they gonna do something to shut these things down?

Got a dodgy automated call saying it was my internet provider, warning me they’d stop my broadband right away due to some illegal stuff. Total scam, obviously.

TOTAL SCAM CALL! Dont hit one! Got a message saying its from my internet provider trying to reach me and warning about my internet getting cut off cuz of some illegal stuff. Just robotic rambling. Said to press one to chat with someone but obviously a scam. Watch out!

Yet another tiresome automated call claiming that there's something dodgy happening with my internet, threatening disconnection. It’s a wonder this kind of nonsense isn't nipped in the bud by the law in this country! My aged parent, who wouldn’t know the internet from a hole in the ground, is being targeted by these scams, and my mate who works nights gets roused by these pestering calls. We’re signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, but quite frankly, it's a complete farce. I keep blocking these numbers, yet they simply switch to another. You’d think they'd find something better to do!

Looks like this might be yet another bogus call. I've switched off my voicemail cos I reckon these lot get paid if you pick up quick. Best to just let it ring and ring until it cuts out. That way, you might just annoy the scammer enough to stop 'em.

I just let it ring, didn’t bother picking up.

We’ve had calls from this number a couple of times over the last few days. It was one of those recorded messages saying our internet would get cut off within a day, but I just ended the call straight away. Honestly, I find the calls more irritating than actually threatening, though it looks like you need to choose the right category from the list for these sorts of calls.

I chose not to pick up the phone, but having perused a few other remarks, I can’t help but feel a bit uneasy. It turns out that ever since I decided to switch my internet service to Talk Talk, I've been bombarded with calls of this nature almost every single day. Furthermore, I’m also making the leap from BT for my line rental and bundling it with Talk Talk. Oddly enough, that choice seems to have triggered an onslaught of dodgy calls coming my way throughout the day. Quite worrying, isn't it?

Had a rather peculiar experience with this number - it’s one of those automated voices that sound like a dodgy Amazon customer service rep. You know the type; the kind that makes you question whether it’s a real person or just a cleverly disguised robot. Definitely gave me the heebie-jeebies!

I received a rather alarming call claiming there was some sort of dodgy online activity linked to my account. They threatened to disconnect my internet within a day unless I pressed '1' to speak with someone. Quite the scare tactic, if you ask me!

I got a call from some organisation claiming to raise funds for the Israeli defence, asking for donations to stop kids as young as three being involved in terrorism. Honestly, felt a bit off - like they were trying to use the money to push ethnic groups out of Israel. Not sure I trust where the cash actually ends up.
