Looks like there's a new scam going around. A woman called saying there was a suspicious charge of £600 on my debit card. Totally a con. They've also been using other numbers like 01132040140 and 02082051985 to push the same fake message. Be careful!

I just got a call from 023806 16389 saying there’s 600 quid about to leave my bank for somewhere abroad. It told me to press 1 if that was me. Didn’t say who it was from or anything, so I hung up straight away. Feels like one of those automated scams to me.

They told me if I went to use my debit card, it probably wouldn't go through. Never gave me their name though.

Got a robo call from a woman, sounded exactly like the one from another scam about Amazon, warning me some £600 had been sent abroad on my card. Didn’t say which card or give any real info. Totally a fraud, no doubt about it. Stay well clear of this one!

No voicemail or anything, but when I searched the number it seems linked to some glasses reglazing service.

Got a call from some robot voice saying there was suspicious activity on my card. They didn’t say which bank or give any name. Definitely one of those scammers trying to swipe cash from us.
