I spoke to the folks at CPR call blocker and they told me these calls are coming through the internet rather than the phone line, which is why my blocker wasn’t catching them. A really nice lady sorted me out with a special code to block the callers. Even though the phones still ring, the calls are actually getting blocked now! Finally, some good news!

Some bloke called himself Adam. I asked him if I had actually asked for his call, but he just interrupted me. I get these annoying calls almost daily. If it’s from India, Africa, or the US, I just hang up straightaway. My call blocker doesn’t seem to work for numbers with local area codes. The only thing you can do is let your answerphone pick up and then decide if it’s worth talking to. When’s this nonsense gonna end?!
