Rest assured, there's no malarkey here! This is actually the official number for the DHL Parcel UK depot located in Portsmouth, where I happen to be employed. They seem to be grappling with some ongoing hiccups regarding their incoming call system ever since new phone lines were set up. If anyone received a call from them asking about a postcode, it’s simply because they retrieved the phone number linked to a delivery that had been scheduled, and they were just verifying that the parcel made it to its destination.
