Got a call from a woman’s recorded voice who thanked me for my supposed Amazon order, saying £399 had been taken from my card. She then told me to press 1 if I hadn’t bought a new iPhone from Amazon and wanted to speak to someone. I never made any purchase, so I just hung up. Definitely a scam.

A woman rang me up thanking me for an Amazon purchase and said that my card had been charged £399.00 for it. She said if I hadn’t bought a new iPhone from Amazon to press 1 to chat with someone about it. I never placed that order and I didn’t press any button.
